The best birthday a dad could ask for

Saturday was my birthday, and I must say, I really enjoyed it.  Not because it was centered around me or because I got presents, but because I got to do things I love with people I love.  When I finally got up in the morning (Naomi let me sleep in a bit while she took care of Lincoln), there were streamers in the living room and a very cute surprise:

Lincoln wrote me a special birthday message (with just a little help from Mom), and had presents all ready for me.  Well, after a great feast of Naomi's famous breakfast cake and presents, we got ready to head out for my official celebration.  We dropped off Lincoln at one of Naomi's coworker's apartment, and went and saw The Da Vinci Code (so-so) and ate at Carraba's (my favorite).  As much as I love my baby, spending time with just Naomi is very rewarding and a nice break from routine.

Then, when we got home, we played with Lincoln since we missed him so much, and he was so happy to see us again, he showed us a new trick.  Check it out on this video:

What a great birthday!

Exteremely cute video, he looks like he's getting so big! ^___________^
(Lincoln, I mean)

Oh, and

I love that fuzzy headed pic! :3

Still the bestest!

Thank you for more!  It's really hard to believe that Lincoln is so big already, and so very strong!

No subject?

I've also decided that Link looks like Naomi in that pic right there. :

Thanks

Truly a great birthday. One can almost blindly attribute the word ‘happiness’ to a wedding celebration. It is true that not all weddings turn out to be happy. Or in other words, not ‘everyone’ in every wedding party is happy. But I certainly was, when my cousin got married at my grandma’s place in India the day before my fifteenth birthday. What could be more fun than wearing your best attire, hanging out with family and friends, and tasting some of finest Indian recipes? Just as I had expected, the grandiose day came to an abrupt end right after lunch. The one who interrupted my day of fun was my dad. I was actually anticipating that awful moment when my dad would ask me to go with him to Madurai, my hometown, which was about five hours away from the wedding so that I could participate in the annual sporting event at my school.
