We had an ultrasound and doctor's appointment this morning and everything looks great! The baby even seems to be slightly big for his age, but that's pretty normal and it doesn't sound like he's extremely huge or anything. We didn't really get any good pictures this time. Mostly we just saw a leg, a foot and the top of his head. He's bottom down with his foot up by his head. I hope he's comfortable that way. I don't think he gets that flexibility from me, but maybe I could do that when I was a baby too. I get to move up to appointments every 2 weeks now. I think that will make the time fly by even faster. It's so crazy how fast it's coming. The other day he had a major kicking session. It made both Chris and I laugh because we could feel these huge kicks coming from both sides of my belly at once. It was a lot of fun. It seemed like the baby was trying to get a lot of exercise in or something.
Chris thought I should tell you about the night I had on Tuesday, at least to keep it in here as a journal entry to remind me to be more careful in the future. So last Tuesday I came home and made pancakes for dinner. Chris decided to wait and have pizza at this demo meeting we were going to that night. Unfortunately for him, there was no pizza at the demo after all. So I had a small pancake and a larger one and we left for about 2 hours. Later on, after we returned home, I got hungry again so I thought I would have another pancake. I ended up having 2 which finished off the batter completely. I was stuffed and it was way too close to bedtime to do that with the heartburn problems I've been having. So to make a long story short and gross at around 1:00 a.m. I woke up and vomited all over our bed. My wonderful husband Chris was sweet enough to take care of me and clean up the mess. I didn't really sleep the rest of the night so I went in to work late and felt horrible all day. I was afraid to eat anything. Needless to say, I've been a lot more careful about what, when, and how much I eat lately. It really wasn't a good night and I'm doing my best to keep from repeating it. I'm glad things have been much better since then and I am feeling a lot better about being pregnant these days.
