My current status

I cannot believe how much heartburn I've been having lately. I think I woke up about 10 times last night from it. From what I've read online this isn't going to go away until the baby comes so hopefully I can figure out some good ways to cope with it. My back is starting to get sore too, but other than that I'm feeling very good. My belly is starting to get pretty big now. Pictures should be posted in the near future. People at work are starting to say how pregnant I look and what a cute pregnant lady I am. So nice. Yesterday I wore my biggest maternity tent shirt and I was asked several times if I was expecting so now I know it's visible to the world and not just people who know me well. I am so so glad I found out about Gap and OldNavy maternity. I was really getting discouraged by all the big flowy peasant tops with either scoop or v-necks at the maternity stores. I'm glad I can stick to my style a bit more even if the selection is slim. Hmm. What else? I really like my new doctor and will be seeing him again in a few weeks. I'm also excited to have another ultrasound at that time. It's so fun to see the baby. Speaking of the baby, he is kicking like crazy lately, but mostly my internal organs which is not the most comfortable for me. I don't know what made him decide that was a better place to hang out and play, but I'm hoping he moves back out to where Chris can feel him from the outside.

Love the wreath.  You are so crafty!

I'm sorry to hear about all the heartburn.  I was having lots of problems with it a while ago, and then it went away.  I think it might be because I eat yogurt every morning now.  I finally got a system that works every time for making homemade yogurt in the Salton.  I simply mix a batch of milk from dry milk, using twice the powder as usual.  I gently stir in about a quarter cup of yogurt from the previous batch, and put it all to heat in the Salton yogurt maker.  Easy. Twelve hours later, I have a beautiful batch of yogurt. (I started with Nancy's yogurt from Fred Meyer, and the culture is still going strong many weeks later.)

I 'm looking forward to seeing more pictures on this amazing site!  Chris is a geeeeeenius!
