This morning I took a shower while Lincoln was not I repeat not napping. He did his usual throwing toys in the shower and everything else he could get his hands on. Today he had a couple of new items. First up was toilet paper which I had to keep catching and throwing out. It was still wrapped in plastic, but I didn't want to take any chances. No one likes wet toilet paper. I continued to shower and got to the part where I had my eyes closed to wash my face. I heard something big fall in the tub. Guess what he threw in now....yep, himself. I quickly finished my shower got out and got the camera. Next I undressed him for a quick bath. Apparently he was watching closely when I turned the shower on because he went straight for the shower plug and pulled it so he could have a big boy shower instead of a bath. That kid!

A Poem for Lincoln
It just so happens that I wrote a poem last week, with Lincoln in mind. I think it is time to share it.
Water for Me
In water's the place where I like most to play.
I feel so dried out by the air through the day.
I just hate the scratch of the clothes I am in.
I want to feel wetness all over my skin.
They say that I'm s'posed to belong on the land,
So why, then, such joy in just washing a hand?
To be all in water is all that I wish.
You sure that I'm really not partly a fish?
I love your poem! I didn't
I love your poem! I didn't know you were a poet. Heh Heh. Well done!
Lol...Lincoln sounds like a handful and also a good little buddy to have around.
Thank you for sharing. I love reading your stuff and seeing pictures!
Lol! He looks cold.
