Since it's the holidays and Fiona's been acting so cute lately, I'm throwing in another couple of videos for good measure. Enjoy:
Yes, we've been pretty lax recently about posting, but instead of trying to catch up, I wanted to throw up a couple of recent cute videos of Fiona. (If you want to follow more recent developments, follow our twitter feeds, here and here).
Anyway, Fiona has been acting rather cute lately, and she's decided to do some fake coughing and sneezing. It seems she just loves to entertain... enjoy.
Well, it's been about a week and a half now. Things are going well, as long as we can get Naomi the rest and food she needs. Fiona is starting to figure out the difference between day and night, which is good news for me. She is starting to fill out and be much more alert (and more insistent in her demands). Anyway, here are some videos of her after the first week:
The reason Lincoln doesn't have a shirt on is because he's been taking it off to pretend like he's boxing. I'm thinking about getting him boxing gloves, but I would probably regret it...
I can't find the video right now, but I'm sure we have a video of Lincoln doing these exact same climbing techniques. I love how she attacks me with her head.
Well, things didn't go quite as we planned. Fiona decided she didn't want to be induced, so Naomi started having contractions last night, and Fiona Marie Hathaway was born at 6:08am this morning, April 28th, 2009. We'll put a more detailed account soon, but basically, she came so fast that it only took one good push, and the epidural hadn't even kicked in yet. She was 6 lbs. 8 oz., 20 inches, with curly light brown hair. Naomi is doing wonderfully, no complications at all. So, here are some pictures, and our favorite video of the morning:

The other day we were at Target and I decided he needed a replacement for the cheap orange plastic harmonica he found a few weeks ago. So, we bought him a good one, and who knew what kind of musician we've been hiding:
Notice the Yoga tree pose he's trying to hold at the cadences :)
We also got out the kazoo and had a bit of fun (who knew being a fly was so exhausting?):
Grandma was able to bribe Lincoln into singing some of his favorite songs. See if you can spot some of the small variances with his personal take on Sound of Music's "Do Re Mi".
Lincoln has been really talking up a storm lately, but no one is ever around to hear it. So, we caught a bit on video (after finishing some cookies):
