I'm sorry, I accidentally put in the wrong date for the radio concert!! It's actually Wednesday, December 5th (I changed it on the post, but I wanted to make sure everyone got the message). I hope you're still able to listen.
On Wednesday this week at 12pm Central time (12:06pm to be exact, after the news break), the choir I sing in, Evening Song, will perform live on the classical station here in Dallas, WRR. So, if you're in the area, you can here us on FM 101.1. But the cool thing is, if you're not in the area, you can listen to us online through WRR's website. Here is the link:

If you're interested, I would go to the site beforehand to make sure you can stream okay. The best quality I found was using Internet Explorer with the 64K stream, but I think the other two options sound good as well. Give it a listen and let me know what you think!
Again, the time is: 12pm CST (10am Pacific), on Wednesday, December 5, 2007
About a year ago when I started really getting into reading blogs and subscribing to feeds, I found a small blog that really caught my eye called FreshArrival. Basically, it posts about one really cool thing every day. It can tend towards the geeky side, but it also posts about art, photography, shopping, music, and anything else that is worth considering. I enjoy it because it doesn't overload me with junk, just one great post a day.
Anyway, they had a survey on the site several months ago, which I filled out, and at the very end was a checkbox asking if we were interested in contributing to the blog ourselves. I checked it, thinking it would be cool, but didn't think much of it. Well, about a week ago, I got an email from the main author of the site, asking if I wanted to write for the blog, and ...(skip to present)... my first post is on the front page today! If you don't read this on Saturday, October 27, 2007, then here is the permanent link:

It's really my first writing in any type of professional setting, and I really enjoy doing it. I hope to contribute at least once a week to the site.
